OM1 Mark 11
The workhorse of the operation. After selling all my full frame gear it felt really strange to walk through the door of micro 4 thirds. I have to say that this camera has transformed my ability to get out and walk further for longer and capture more. I can leave my tripod behind most of the time as I can comfortably capture handheld long exposures up to about 2 secs with the image stabilization in this mini beast. So much packed into this camera for a very reasonable price.
M. Zuiko 8mm-25mm F4 Pro.
I find this lens more on my camera than off it. My go to Landscape glass. Extremely sharp and extremely weather resistant which is important when you live in Ireland. Easily fits in the palm of your hand and coupled with the OM1 MK11 it is a set up that you have no issue carrying around your neck on a days photo walk.
M. Zuiko 150mm-600mm f5.0-6.3
I adore this lens. My wildlife go to glass. I have also found myself shooting sports and lifestyle/people shots with this lens as I can be so far away that nobody even notices me. Yes, im micro four thirds sense, it is big but hey there is always some trade off. I can still carry this in my backpack all day long when out and about and this lens has helped me get so many wildlife shots without disturbing the wildlife in question.
M. Zuiko 12mm-100mm F4 Pro.
A beautiful everyday lens with a constant F4 aperture throughout. I use this lens for some landscape shots with the 100mm allowing me to shoot shots such as a distant waterfall where access is tricky. On family trips this lens is on the camera 95% of the time. Fast auto focus near or far and built like a tank with weather sealing. What’s not to like!
M. Zuiko 50-200mm F2.8 Pro
The latest addition to my camera bag. The jewel in the crown on the OM optical system in a go anywhere form. Light, weathersealed and with optics that are unmatched especially in lower light conditions which is something you need in dreary conditions in Ireland. Coupled with teleconverters this lens is a PRO in every sense of the word. From landscapes to wildlife this mini beast has me covered.
DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Kit.
I use the Osmo pocket 3 for creating content for my youtube videos which I started doing in October 2025. For us shy content creators and phototgraphers the pocket 3 allows us to shoot video without being in the glare of those around us. It really is so discreet. Potensic Atom 2 Drone
I use the Potensic Atom 2 drone for my aerial shots in my videos. I have been flying drones for 15 years and have flown everything from heavy lift mapping drones to the smallest handheld fun drone. This pocket rocket fits comfortably into my bag and therefore can come on long hikes with me. I love this little piece of kit. Great value for money and video and stills quality that rivals its bigger cousins from China.
