The Round Tower at Old Kilcullen set in a dramatic early spring sunset.

March 2025: The original idea was to capture the Round Tower and Old Kilcullen with a focus on some of the medieval headstones surrounding the 11th century tower. The final result ended up being massively influenced by the dramatic sunset I happen to encounter on the evening that I visited the site. The final photo is a composite of two images. The first taken before sunset with the second being the pick of 20 shots I took from the same spot during the sunset. Both shots I blended in photoshop and these images were the first ever images I shot with the OM Sytem OM1 Mark ii with the 8mm-25mm F4 Pro lens from M. Zuiko. There is another image from the same shoot in the gallery again with the sky heavily influencing the composition.
